Account
Sign-in is handled by a sign-in provider. Gnesi receives the identity that provider confirms, including the name and email on the account. You can reserve one mailbox, name@gnesi.io. A custom domain stores the domain, the address, and whether the DNS check succeeded. The check token itself is not part of your export.
Messages and contacts
Gnesi stores the conversations you send and receive, contacts, the prices on those contacts, and a record of what happened on each conversation. Bcc is kept for the sender of that message and is not shown to the other recipients. Text you attached is stored with the message. Files that were never saved as text are listed by name only when that is all we have.
Payments
A paid message stores the amount, the status, and the receipt. Gnesi creates the USDC wallet and does not put a key in the browser. Sending moves that USDC into escrow.
The USDC stays in escrow until the addressed account accepts, replies, or converts. Ignoring the message returns it after 7 days.
Agents
An agent credential is shown once. After that Gnesi stores a hash and the last four characters, not the secret.
Export and deletion
Settings → Your data builds a zip of your messages, payments, contacts, and addresses. Deletion is refused until that download matches the current records. Shared conversations stay for the other participants. Conversations only you were on are removed, along with your address, contacts, and private records.
What we do not do
Gnesi does not sell personal information and does not run an advertising platform.
